Safety Patrol Field Trip
Dear Parents,
Attached is the first field trip form for Safety Patrol. We will be walking to McDonalds on Monday, October 22nd for lunch. We will not need any drivers or parents for this trip. Your child will also be given a copy of the permission slip. Please return a signed copy by Friday, October 19, 2012. In the past some parents have been troubled by us eating fast food. Whereas I do not consider it a healthy choice or a daily preference I do think the one time we do it a year is an acceptable treat, and it is within walking distance, which the patrols love. It makes them feel very adult to walk to the restaurant. I hope you will approve your patrol coming for lunch. Let me know if you have any questions.
