The Spotlight Kids Performing Arts is an award-winning, after school drama club offered to current students of Millhopper Montessori School. The program is offered to 6th-8th graders and starts in August with auditions and continues through May. This intensive program is an opportunity for your student to receive one-on-one instruction and feedback in believability/characterization, emotional commitment, focus, energy, concentration, staging, blocking, and choreography through various drama games. The ensemble promotes teamwork, confidence, discipline, and creativity. The group is also part of the Educational Theater Association’s Junior Thespians Troupe 88928 and competes at the District and State level.
